1) Why a private guide?

Well, first of all, because you can afford it! People, usually, think that it is too expensive.  In a group of three, you can already afford a tour guide for yourself !!

As I said already, you will have the tour guide to yourself! You will have personal contact with your guide and therefore get in depth understanding of the country.

You will be able to customize the tour to your preferences. This gives you the flexibility to go where you want, when you want, spent more time in one place or skip another. You will not be in a big bus with another 30-50 people!

2) Why me?

Because you want a licensed guide. That is someone that has been trained to do this job for three years at the National School of Tour Guides and knows everything about the monuments, the archaeology, the monasteries, the literature, the history of Greece and the local traditions.

You also need a guide that has got a lot of experience! I have been working as a full time guide since 1998 in English, Italian and Russian. I already have 15 years of experience in my job which I enjoy very much.

What makes a professional even better is their love for what they do. For me being a tour guide was my first choice. It was my dream since I was a kid! I am lucky because I do what I always wanted to do. And believe me, it makes all the difference.

No wait! There is one more thing that makes a big difference. A guide that shows you more than… stones! A guide that takes you through the wine culture, the crafts, the local tastes, the mountain paths, the gastronomy, the geology, the cultural events, the thermal springs of the country.
