As celebration of the National Guide day on the 21st of February The Association of Licensed Tourist Guides, Athens-Greece organised again  the 12th Treasure Hunt on the 26th of February 2023!

This event has been institutionalised and all the Athenians of all different ages loves it and it's shown every year.

Every year a bigger number of participants come alone, with their couple or as a group of friends or families and are exploring their city. They find out stories, fun facts or they just stop and look at places and buildings that normally pass by fast on their way to their work.

This year we broke our record in participation with 550 people and shows us that it had become a tradition and a habit this pursuit of knowledge.

Their award was given the following Sunday, on the 5th of March 2023. They had the chance to be guided either in the Ancient Agora of Athens, Kerameikos, the ancient cemetery of Athens or the War Museum (there were the soldiers "guides" doing it).

We would like to thank our participants that had come with their good mood and their smiles but we need to give a big thank you to our volunteer guides that every year they are coming and giving their best to make this event successful!

We renew our appointment for next year, 2024, and we're waiting for you with open arms and big smiles!
